People running 406 brembos...

   What brake pads do you suggest and where can I get them?
   
   Seen some mintex pads on ebay and also the peugeot boxer ones but not sure...
   
   In general for brakes full stop, the "Carbon Lorraine" pads are meant to be the leading pads for fast road/track use at mo.
   
   Can anyone enlighten me?

   For road use and the occasional trck day go for mintex, they are VERY good
   
   no need to go for the carbon ones unless you are VERY VERY heavy on the brakes imo
   
   EDIT - Btw where did you manage to get a setup like this from? im after one but never see them up for sale on here nor ebay

   Got the calipers off ebay, was vaguely described as brembo calipers so got em for a steal.
   
   Keep searchin and some will pop up... I also rung about 30 breakers and put a parts reuest on all the online breakers across the UK. Had a few quotes off those so ya jus need to google for online breakers "247 parts" "thebreakeryard.com", "parts gateway" etc.

   Did you get the xantia pads? I think thats what they are cos the normal ones squeek like mad, sit funny on a saxo iirc.

   Yeah I got the 283mm Xantia discs mate... they're huge if I may say so myself, I know there's only 36mm difference between the GTI 247 discs but it's a big difference.
