HELP!! engine auto - diagnosis light

    engine auto - diagnosis light is on , been on for a few miles now jus came on randomly on the way home dont no why?

    can anyone help me out how to get it to go off?

    left the car for a hour or so and when i start it up its still there!

    in the handbook says something about has found a fault within the fuel injection or ignition??

    you would need to get it on a diagnostic meter to tell whats wrong with it. then sort the problem. only way i think it can be put out mate.

    personaly id drive it as little as possible, prob nothing serious but not worth taking risk id say, needs a diagnostic check to see what the error is.

    A couple of weeks ago my VTR got broken into, they wrecked the inside of my car.wripped all the wires trying to hot wire it and took out the ignition barrell lol (how funny)....instead of paying the garage to fix this i went to ths scrap yard and got a ignition barrel and fixed it maself...the car started fine only problem the Speed dials didnt work? so i went and got a new set of dials...plugged them in and now the Engine Diangnosis Light is on...whats going on?? All the wires that attach to the Speed dials were untouched when they car got broken into....im confused its one problem after another..?? It says in the handbook fault with fuel injection or ignition? wreckon its on because of the ignition barrell I got from the other car?

    Anyone? lol x
