Help needed please on my breather system

   hi could anyone please help me i have got a 1998 saxo expose and off the breather pipe from the engine there is a pipe going to the exhaust monifold which has snapped off and i was woundering what that pipe is called and how much it would cost to fix and if its a MOT failiure ?
   
   any help would be much appreciated
