    Mines bonded on with Fibreglass.
Could use some sort of unibond/no more nails, but takes longer to set compared to fibreglass.
    Mines rock solid.

same as al really anything like that will do, mines stuck with araldite.

best way 2 do it is to use the standard screws that he normal blak grille goes and use washers n screw the mesh onto the grill with the screw and washer to hold it in place. this way u can remove it when ever you want.

I did`nt use any glues etc... Like hmuminovic saci just use the original screws and also just bend the mesh to suit accordingly.
My one has never shifted or anything..

    screws on a mk1 grill?
  7. #7
Yes, there`s about 5 or6 small black around the edge. This way no components need to be damaged etc...

mine had some screws but i took them out & cut off the bits they screw into to make it easier to fix the mesh on. they just got in the way otherwise.

used some no more nails sealant on mine - but gonna redo it with fibreglass soon so its a bit tidier.

take it all off. Mesh it then get the citroen chevrons off the black part of the grille (pulls off with a bit of force) then glue them to the mesh.

yup just like Alex says. cevrons will come away from the black centre bit with a good tug.
