Westcoast saxo lowering

  1. #1
hi there, im new to this forum so i may be posting in the wrong section, please feel free to hit me lol

im after a quick reply to a relatively simple question really.

Have a westocoast saxo and i want to purchase some springs for the front.

Just wondering what is the lowest you can go on standard shocks?

(i had a 306 before this and the lowest i could go on that was 40mm)

and any particular make i should look out for/avoid?

    Many thanks

    Dan

Wouldn't go any lower than 40mm on just springs. After that you go for a whole kit. This is the wrong section too lol. Doesn't matter too much, just remember for next time, look under 'Brakes, Suspension, Transmission'.

Go to Spax mate, they are good springs that are pretty cheap too. Either that or go to www.kam-racing.co.uk

Also, are the springs different for the westcoast and the VTR?

yes mate, you need to look for 1.4 engine springs

At the moment I believe Kam is doing some good deals on Apex suspension kits other than that I would go with a Spax setup as said!

ive got spax springs and i highly rate them as a spring on there own but if you can afford it get a spax kit with dampers as it will handle much better than just springs

yeah always best to get the dampers if you can afford it

we can lower and fit all the dampers/springs if you need at a reasonable price
we come reccomended from all the people we have done!!

it doesnt matter how low you go 40-80mm or what ever the dampers will bottom out and way and the ride is rubbish
