hi all, i was wondering if anyone could tell me the approxomate bhp of superchared vts with no other engine mods?...thanks

what so just a supercharged vts with nothing else done? you would need other mods with it i would have thought anyway. why you asking?

i really want supercharged vts,but dont really know much about it tbh. I looked on the BMC site and they do it for approx 5000. do you think this includes the vts engine?. my saxo's only 1.1i at the moment and i just wanna know how much bhp a supercharger would add to a vts engine....

Depends on what you want to go for but a S/C VTR with single injector will get around 150 at the wheels.
VTS would get about 180 and a whole load of torque

to quote the GMC site:

SAXO / 106 8 valve no cooler gives 110 to 118 bhp at the wheels which equals a 50% increase.

SAXO / 106 8 valve with intercooler 140 to 155 bhp at the wheels which equals 90% increase.

SAXO / 106 16 valve no cooler gives 140 to 150 bhp at the wheels which equals 50% increase

SAXO / 106 16 valve with intercooler gives 175 to 185 bhp at the wheels which equals 90% increase

and no it doesnt include the VTS engine thats work done on your already running car, it also doesnt include a clutch to take the power or uprated brakes which you really do need.
