Whirring noise....

   Hey guys
   
   Well im gettin abit of a whirring noise under acceleration mainly in 3rd, 4th and 5th gear,
   
   Ive been told this is somthing in the gearbox wearing out, cant remember exactly what it is.
   
   Im just wanting to no if the car is going to be safe to take to Ultimate Street Car @ Santa Pod??
   
   Dont really want my gear box blowing on the way there OR on the strip for that matter!!

   It will be fine for a while, the part your thinking of will be the inner gearbox bearings it is a common fault with saxo/106 gearbox's. Over time it will get worse so keep an eye on it!
   Also it's probably not wise to take it on the strip but for casual driving it will last for some time!!!
