   Wasnt sure where to post this and looks at all the stickys but cant find much,
   
   any way my question is, what sort off things should i be looking to get if i wanted to do a couple off track days? engine wise?
   
   im getting buckets harness, helmet, decent tyres, and light weight rims, but engine wise im pretty stuck, apart from panel filter or raceland and i cant deside which one to go for lol.
   
   Would oil cooler and catch tanks be a good idea? also thinking off some water and oil temp gauges!
   
   HELP please!

   check all fluid levels, check brakes have plenty of life left, check all suspension is on properly etc...

   catch tank is a good plan
   stops pissing oil everywere out your breather
   
   i used a relentless can and some hose as a budget temporary job lol
   but otherwise whatever you want tbh

   rebull can/ hose pipe/ electical tape job done! , almost identical post to alex breather filters are a waste of time tbh!

   also any guides for making this home made catch tanks like the sounds off the redbull one

   just get some hose, bung it off the breather on the engine. Other end into a can/bottle.
   
   Pikey breather system ftw.

   Also where can i get a oil cooler and all things neeed from? seen a kit on ebay for 100 which looks okey but want something pretty decent as well as cheap!

    Also, when i fit the oil cooler will i have to bleed it for air? aswel?

    if you are prepping a car for a first trackday i wouldn't spend lots of money.
    
    Service the car.. ie change oil, brake fluid, check brakes etc etc and then just go out and enjoy the first one.
    
    If you get the bug then start modding to make the car better. The most important thing is to enjoy yourself and the standard car is more than capable for that!

    ive done a couple in a 205 1.9 gti, which is family owned, but not any in my saxo, my 1st one will be at snetterton and then 30 mins at silverstone, But i plan on driving there AND driving back im going to order some greenstuff pads and brembo drilled and grooved disc's,
    
    and once you have the braces for sale ill buy them to im making a catch tank today, and sorcing a oil cooler ;P
    
    But im thinking off getting this Kit off ebay, seems and looks half decent for now, Heres a pic,
    
    
    
    But will i need another pump and have to bleed the whole system for air once ive fitted the cooler?
    
    Im also thinking off taking fogs out, and blanking them with mess then building the oil cooler behind one and a air duct in the other..

    Over cooling oil is a bad thing.

    no point in getting an oil cooler on a standardish engine

    Okey, well im booked for snet in a couple off weeks so ill get a oil temp gauge and see how i get on. Cheers for help, and news on your strut braces yet?
