brake conversion, help?!

    ive found someone who is braking a saxo but i need to know the parts i need off him in order for me to get a conversion done on my westcoast. can some please make me a list of what i need, an roughly how much i should pay for it all. rep will be given

    what saxo is he breaking?

    you'll need all the brake components, flip out your Haynes manual and have a read.

    think he sed its a vtr. so like the hub brake cals discs etc? i havent got a haynes manual lol maybe i shud own one.
    i dont need the rear beam do i?

    i did front conversion on my 1.1
    you need calpiers bolts discs pads
    the westy hoses should fit

    get the rear beam aswell and you can put the back discs on too

    ye could def do with that rear beam, westy will be on drums on the back

    Calipers, carriers, carrier bolts probably, the little wire clip thingies.

    It's an easy job

    Westie & Furio's have the same front brakes as the VT models!

    he sed the rear beam is bent tht means im pretty much goosed for doin the rear conversion doesnt it??

    i know mate the front are sound i jus wanted to know what i needed to the rear end as well.

    Dont bother with the vt front brake set-up get the 266 or 283mm if possible so much better
