#5at the risk of soundin stupid, which is the slam panel? and where abouts is it located? is the metal bit that has the standard exsisting cold air feed for the air box?
-
#6Yes that's correct, the slam panel is what your bonnet locks into. Personally though I would find a standard cold air feed for a few quid bolt it on and connect up the piping fom the filter. It's gotta make more sense then butchering the slam panel!!Quote:at the risk of soundin stupid, which is the slam panel? and where abouts is it located? is the metal bit that has the standard exsisting cold air feed for the air box?

#8cheers everyone, i cant c the diff in attaching it through the standard in take on the slaqm panel and cutting a hole, the reason i asked is coz ive been told that its an MOT failure to put holes or drill into that panel? is this correct or a load of rubbish?
