Porsche rims on a saxo

  1. #1
right i may aswell ask this, couldnt find it in the search, if u can find sum 4 stud porsche rims with the same pcd would they fit depending on the offset or would you still need an adapter for the centre bore?
  2. #2
if you could find porsche rims with the same PCD youd need adapters to get the correct offset, and correct centre bore.....

but the chances are slim an none tbh
  3. #3
doubt youd find porsche rims in 4x108 with the et right
better off getting a similar rim not the proper porsche 1s
  4. #4
think ive found a set just the centre bore is different so i would still need an adapter made up anyway right?
  5. #5
    yes....
  6. #6
unless the bore is smaller than on a saxo
then you would need it machined out larger
if its bigger you could run like a spigot ring in the bore to shrink it

    what et are they?
  7. #7
    Would look mint though
  8. #8
yea youll need hubcentrics to correct the et and centre bore size bud else they will just cause problems.

what size are they about 16's
  9. #9
na 4stud 108 pcd 7x15" deep dish need to check et think its 16? thought saxo could be between 12-18? maybe lookin at the wrong thing completely understand alloys and tyre but never reli understood offset
  10. #10
    saxos are 15-18 iirc

i have 16et both my sets of wheels (6jX15 and 7jX16)
    7x15 should be sound
  11. #11
how much would the centre bore adapters be roughly do u know?
  12. #12
porshe alloys cost more than saxos do if that helps
  13. #13
they would stick out a mile!
Be worth more than the car
and it would look like a monster truck

three reasons to do it right there
  14. #14
why put porshe <-- spelling) rims on for anyway ?

cus it would look sweet and original unlike every man and his dog on vts
  16. #16
if they are 4x108 et16, they are a perfect fit for a saxo. dont listen to all the shit above.

the bore can be sorted either way. if its too big you can use spigot rings, if its too small you can get the machined out. no need for any adaptors of any kind.

didnt know you could get porsche wheels in that fitment tho?

spigot rings are very cheap. to get them machined shouldnt cost too much either.

why? you dont need them if they are the fitment he has said they are.

just need to sort the bore out like i have said above.
  20. #20
because i very much doubt they will go on
  21. #21
they will if they are the fitment he has said they are which is the only info we have to go on at the mo.

obviously if they are a different size it will be different.
  22. #22
thingis though i think a lot of people would of done it by now but ive not seen one saxo with porsche rims

ideal if they are the fitment though
  23. #23
tbh its a bit of a faff on......... stick some black vts rims on and be done with it lol

true. i've never heard of porsche wheels being 4x108 but then again i dont know all wheel fitments.

hopefully for him they are what he's said they are.
  25. #25
it probablies is but modifying is about being different, if you want to do it and have the money then do it i say

And look just like 90% of other Saxo's on here. Im bored of vts rims personally, im sick of seeing them (no offence people) Get to an eng. firm dude & see what they say. I've no doubt it can be done, it'll just take some effort. But then, altering your car is called modifying for a reason!

i get what you mean though.............people's saxo are gettin alike.........black vtr/s wheels........smoked theme etc............bodykits will be back in fashion soon tbh

    95% standard ftw

only thing on mine is a meshed front bumper and grill, thats it
  30. #30
unfortuntley i went down the vts alloys route, but ye as i said there r some old 4 stud porsche rims that run 108pcd and near correct with offset, but most look crap, apart from the set i found which where sweet 7x15", the guy confirmed, yes they where the fitment stated in the ad, would have probably needed to get the centre bore machined though.
  31. #31
ahhhhh thats poor mate nevermind thouht would of been nice to see it
  32. #32
just the centre bore was different in the end 57.0 on the porsche compared to 65.0 on a saxo, dont know wheather you could solve this cheaply?everything else was spot on e.t was 15, pcd was 108, and wheels where 7x 15" as previosly stated
  33. #33
has this not been done? would love to see this though
  34. #34
it may have been done yes, lots of alloys have prob went on saxo from other cars, but this was going to be a direct bolt on, if you could sort the centre bores
