Whats you're favourite between the two?

Low toned with a kick when you put your foot down

    or

    Raspy Rally sound
  2. #2
    Raspy Rally id go for
  3. #3
I'm stuck on which one to go for.

What do people prefer when driving?

I've only ever had the low toned one but I've got the option for a raspy one, but don't think the noise will suit the car - but the temptations there
  4. #4
    supersprint raspy any day
  5. #5
Raspy Rally all the way for me....
  6. #6
    raspy rally all the way

Lol, Am I the only sensible one, Iv got a BTB on my VTS and its nice and quiet until you accelerate. Good for mways.
  8. #8
i love my supersprint piper setup
burbles a bit at low revs
rasps like hell at about 5k
    and pops a fair bit

oh and its only on a 1.1 on the vts it sounded nuts!
  9. #9
raspy rally from the full supersprint "kam edition" exhaust
  10. #10
    Raspy rally ftw

Supersprint mani with powerflow system, quiet low revs...rasps when you put your foot down and pops alot

Not really my thing but what I will say is every single one of the Raspy boy racer exhaust I hear just sound terrible. They sound like the exhaust is just broken. As for the low tones that generally is much nicer but again will always sound wrong unless you have the engine to go with. Basically unless you have the engine any one who even half knows what there on about will instantly pick up that its just shit. So your best to keep it quite understated with a bit of sound when you are driving hard just to let you know you are having a bit of fun.

Subtle idle and nice deep sporty tone ftw.

    Just like mine

However........that ecosse 306 @ FCS mate my pants wet with it's rally raspiness.

And that AX fella is right. Get an exhaust wrong and it sounds like farting down a tube.
  14. #14
RS200 group B rally noise ftw.
  15. #15
    the growl of a tvr

  16. #16
rally for the win with a good loud pop between gear changes.low rumbble just sound like a blown exhaust unless its a scooby cany beat the noise of a scooby .
  17. #17
was following a mk2 rs turbo today...that sounded the sex tbh

i've done loud exhaust and i love it in high streets, at meets, in multistorey car parks and dartford tunnells other than that it was a shit. motorways were harsh neighbours used to give me funny looks etc lol...

i like a suntle tone tbh... magnex style ftw
  18. #18
    Hmm still unsure!
  19. #19
Low toned with a kick when you put your foot down
  20. #20
i like deep noise at low revs than loud rally at high revs

exhaust sound is overrated, induction roar wins every time
  25. #25
Rasppppp, not as popular, not as chavvy and sounds abit more racey, each to their own though, it's 100% opinion.

im running a piper 3,5inch outwardly rolled backbox as they are suposed to sound good and raspy and it was crap so i decided to take the centre silencer out and replace it with a cherry bomb and its still rubbish. i drive a mk2 vts btw. im really confused, can anyone give me a reason why it wont make any noise. shall i remove the cat? or take out the cherry bomb? all i want is to be able to hear the exhaust. it just doesnt make any noise in the revs.
