    anyone got a guide for spraying calipers and the carrier? cheers

    when mine were done, i cleaned them up with a wire brush and madesure they were the best they could be, then primed them then sprayed.
    people advise using something like radiator paint but i used the standard halfords spray can stuff! worked a treat

    and the normal halfords spray has not started to flake or peel?

    Not normal paint, use caliper paint...

    you can also use hammerite paint

    No, you dont need to primer anyway...

    I used hammerite 18 months ago just painted straight on and they still look the same 18 months on.

    Plus hammerite dries quicker...

    Just rub them down with a wire brush, then pain the hammerite on.
    Best thing to do, and as david said - its dries quicker.

    ronseal does the trick..........a glossy finish too.........plus cheaper i think..

    nah it does a decent job honest ! its heat proof paint...........black calipers look ok

    I jus cleaned them with a wire brush, then wiped over with a damp then dry cloth waited an hour then got to it with some hammerite.

    primer is just for filling sanding marks and making imperfections easier to s, for calipers i wouldnt bother, hammerite does the job, get the smooth one
