#1

#2when mine were done, i cleaned them up with a wire brush and madesure they were the best they could be, then primed them then sprayed.
people advise using something like radiator paint but i used the standard halfords spray can stuff! worked a treat
hope this helps -
#3and the normal halfords spray has not started to flake or peel?
-
#4Not normal paint, use caliper paint...
-
#5you wanting to spray and not paint?
-
#6you can also use hammerite paint
-
#7if i use hammerite, would i still have to primer first?
-
#8No, you dont need to primer anyway...
-
#10I used hammerite 18 months ago just painted straight on and they still look the same 18 months on.
-
#11Plus hammerite dries quicker...
-
#12Just rub them down with a wire brush, then pain the hammerite on.
Best thing to do, and as david said - its dries quicker. -
#13Yh hammerite is the best mine still look glossy
top quality stuff -
#14ronseal does the trick..........a glossy finish too.........plus cheaper i think..
-
#15Tell me you're joking...?
-
#16nah it does a decent job honest ! its heat proof paint...........black calipers look ok
-
#17I jus cleaned them with a wire brush, then wiped over with a damp then dry cloth waited an hour then got to it with some hammerite.
-
#19primer is just for filling sanding marks and making imperfections easier to s, for calipers i wouldnt bother, hammerite does the job, get the smooth one

#20Can you get any colour hammerite??
