mirrors

   how do i take them off as i have bought a set of dtm mirrors from max power but didnt get any instructions with them or the base plates could any one please help me???

   first off open ya door, The box that houses the control stick for the mirrors you can just yank off as its not screwed on or anything. You then got 3 screws that are holding the wing mirrors on, Just unscrew them and teh mirror just comes off

   then to fit the new ones.. I had to use some longer screws than standard ones and washers to hold them in.

   i had to take my door card off to get to the bottom two screws or was that just me being over the top? he he

   my mate said he had to do it aswell,i cant even find an allen key to fit to take the miror off

   how do you get torx screws out mate?

    the same way mate, you need to get a torx skrew driver,its the same type of skrew thats holds the dash and bits together (star type head). couple 'a quid from the local motor shop, or on one of those cheap multi-head skrewdriver sets.
