Gearstick wobble

   Hello i am new member..Looking for help /advice.Daughters car just bought it,, Saxo Desire X Reg,the gearstick wobble,s about,and have been told that the gear linkages need to be done,that will fix it so they say ..Any idea of the cost of such a job and would that do the trick.. opinions welcome.

   it may do the job and there not all the exspensive to be honest. I have just bought some off ebay. just take a look.

   you should also check engine mounts. If the engine is moving around then the gearlever will wobble more also

   im betting on the link pin at the base of the gearstick needs replacing.

   Thanks,any idea how big a job and what sort of cost ,Apart from the play in gearstick the car is perfect
