Alloy petrol cap

   ive got a sparco alloy petrol cap on my car and i keep getting told to put back the standard one but i like it so what about if i spray it same color as car, has anybody done this?, got any pics????????????.

   would look shite imo
   
   different texture to the standard caps
   
   would just look well cheap and tacky

   ive got an alloy one on my silver vtr, think it looks loads better than the standard

   i tried to spray it and the primer wont stay on even after i sanded it for ages so now it looks shit so im putting standard one back on now after i respayed it cos its got a big scratch across it.
