#4twist and pull like a good'un..
should just pull off. Not need to snap it off. -
#5Cheers buddy, ill give it a go now
-
#6Hacksaw it off mate
-
#7Well we just had another go twisting it anti clock-wise and pulling but its a bitch, ive got my mate Hercules here and hes not even have any luck! Is it just the ball that i need to try and get off?
-
#8yea it is, seriously just hacksaw it through the middle!
-
#9The knob has a metal bit in the centre, so do i just cut through the centre, im guessing theres a plastic bracket holding it on? So if i saw it off then the new knob has a grub screw to hold it in place, then i just tighten it onto the shaft?
-
#10Cut from the bottom of one side, over the top and down the other side. Try not to cut the metal gear stalk though!
You new knob should have a few plastic caps with it. One size will fit over the metal stalk. Then slip on the new gear knob and tighten the grub screws. Re tighten after abit of driving as it may come abit loose!

#11come to darlo and il pul ur gear knob off!

#12Cheers Chris, the knob didnt come with a plastic cap bit, its just simply a grub screw. Its Richbrook im not sure if they come with plastic caps? I will have to give the saw a go mate, cheers for the help. I will do my best to avoid the stalk! Yatesy man you come down here its only down the road, youre the handy man!
