my car had a service last fri and was told will need new pads at the back and currently have green stuff but i bought some red dots from halfords a bit ago as were cheap. should i just get thesefitted as maybe looking at getting new calipers, etc for front but have grooved discs f + r with greenstuff pads f+r. should i just aprate the pads or put newcalipers up front aswel but would buy grooved discs to go with the new calipers and new pads. opinions?

#2i found that really really hard to understand mate.
so you need new rear pads? if you do then get them.
but your saying your getting new calipers for the front, im guessing an upgrade to 266mm or 283mm or a higer spec.
imo there is no point in upgrading the rears.
do you think the green stuff are any good? as my experience and alot of other people's are not good with them -

#7we have greenstuff pads been on the car now 2 years and not found any probs, there are loads of other good ones out there ferodo, tarox etc depends on how much you want to spend???
