magnex/piper/peco

   dunno if i shud get a peco piper or magnex backbox.
   which is the best make?
   which is loudest and what type of noise do they give. i want people to be able to hear it when driving past...

   If you want quality go for magnex.
   If youre after something loud go for peco.
   
   Magnex are relatively quiet unless your really booting it.

   cheers, are piper any good??
   or what other brands are good quality and a noise louder than magnex but the same type of noise...low deep???

   Get a piper. Magnex don't look right (tailpipe dependant) and peco are just shit.

   Piper seem to be okay, never had one personally though.
   
   Powerflow can be okay dependant on back box - t/pipe etc

   what kind of noise do u get from piper and ashley?
   similar as magnex but louder?

   Pipers a low deep rumble, just alot more noticeable than a magnex

    Magnex are quality and more of a subtle exhaust, the sound is more noticeable when you floor it.
    
    Piper are a good quality exhaust and give a good note weather booting it or just travelling at a steady speed.
    
    Peco are shit basically, I had one and got rid of it after a month.

    right...i think i will get a piper...shall i go for a backbox and then have bank for a bmc induction kit or lowering, or shud i get full exhaust system??

    I have a Magnex full system and you can only really notice it when you put you foot down. If you do a alot of motorway driving I would say a Magnex.

    followed by Ashley then.................. magnex
    
    wouldnt touch another exhaust tbh... main reason for price etc...

    As said, it's all well and good having an overly loud exhaust so people notice you... but if you're doing a lot of miles - on 60/70 limits, it will drone and chances are you'll get bored and annoyed with it.
    
    I'd personally opt for a magnex but that's because i'll be doing 40 mile round trips everyday for uni... if it's just a weekend/doss about car - go for ashley/supersprint
