surely the piston couldnt come out enough to fall out , it would hit the brake disc

    Are you after 266's then?

If so, they are off a berlingo, 206 gti, 306 2.0 diesel.

TBH matey best advice you can have is :-

    Look after your brakes better!

Seriously I'm gobsmacked, that is so rare, either a complete knob last worked on your brakes or there was a serious failure of som brake part or other, hope you find what your looking for.

well i fitted the brakes pads and discs ages ago and they have been fine abit of squeakyness its been through a mot 3 weeks ago so i dont think i fitted them wrong

just need to comfirm cos looking into the discs they have on bay it also has 266mm the 306 1.9td that is closest to me that they will just bolt on ? onto the saxo

Think they'll require a touch of grinding to fit under VTR wheels,
the only ones that don't need grinding are berlingo and 206 gti's i think..

seen a berlingo beening broke for spares near me so going to get the calipers from there

so... do i just go to gsf car parts and ask for disc and pads of the same car berlingo ? or do i need other ones ?
  13. #13
bump really need to know this asap cos i'll be going out tomorrow buying them ?
  14. #14
if your using berlingo calipers and carriers, you will need the berlingo disks n pads

    406 ones won't fit, pretty sure C5 don't either.

306 ones should be the same as std, as should xsara ones.

There are tech sections for a reason...

If the car went through it's M.O.T 3 weeks ago and the tester didn't report back any failures or issue possible problems which were borderline during the test,my advice is to get the car checked at another M.O.T station for a second opinion,as a failure that bad would not have just happened. It sounds as if the caliper may have stress fractures and disintergrated allowing the piston to fall out.
