Breather Filter?

   are these any good??
   do they do anything and are they easy to fit?
   and what mm one woul di need to fit my saxo vtr 2001?
   help would be gr8

   yes they are easy to fit, they stop oil vapour going back into air intake system.
   not sure on size i just bought one got the tubing to fit it

   cheers stendog, anyone got any pics of breather filters on there car(close up pics will be better)?
   any guides on fitting them ??

   ive got an oil catch tank so wont give you the same view. simply get a peice of pipe that fits on the rocker cover part and then fits on the breather filter simple really mate

   If your doing it with the standard airbox then make sure you block the hole that it'll leave, its behind the filter so it will be sucking unfilterd air in

   I`ve taken mine off it pissed oil over the rocker cover.

    To stop the breather filter spewing out oil try to have it positioned higher than the rocker cover

    I have a problem with mine if anyone could help please , i have a 1998 saxo expose and the pipe comming from the engine to the breather / air filter, theres a smaller pipe going to the inlet( so ive been told , its not the lambda) which has snapped , anybody on here got a 1998 expose and could tell me where i could buy the pipeing as i would have to buy a complete set of the pipe comming from the engine into the breather and into the inlet
    any help will be very much appricated

    I had to get a breather filter on mine cos i bought an induction kit and my oil pipe thing that should go into standard airbox had snapped, only cost me 4 pound, what exactly do they do?
