   Just seeing if anyone has put a vts gearbox on a vtr???
   
   Or if it would fit????

   I haven't done it but it will fit. The gear ratios are different and I'm not too sure what all the differences are.

   do you thinkk the 8v lump will be able to handle it?? and will it rev haigher things like ???

   lol... It won't rev higher.
   And of course it'll handle it. The engine won't even notice

   It will bolt straight on and may give u a bit quicker acceleration, thats all. Doesnt affect the limiter or engine and it wont struggle.

   If it's not gonna cost you alot to get/fit, then yeah, why not. Otherwise no, not till you need to...

    dont think it will make much of a difference, theres another page on the forum, guys are talkin about what the best box for a vts is, either the standard S box, or a 1.1, and the ratios etc are pretty much the same, altho, on the chart that was posted, it says the 1.1 box has an extra 2mph top end....
