spraying centre console and air vents

    couldnt find a sticky on it
    do you just put on say 3 layers of spray paint on and sand in between each layer?
    and do u need to laquer it?

    yeah mate sounds like you got it correct.

    you defo need to lacquer it!

    primer, few coats of paint and laquer should do it.

    just one coat of primer and one of laquer yeh?

    I done a couple coats of primer to make sure i got it all, then couple layers of paint, then some laquer.

    thanks for that guide, thought i had seen one somewhere before......looks moderatley difficult lol
    i will have to think about doing it i thought it was like 3 screws and it came off..didnt realise you had to remove everything
    also to get the polish off is that the sanding bit?

    No worries mate, its actually easier than it looks tbh.

    Theres 5 screws if i remember correctly, but yeah you have to take your CD player out, unplug heater parts etc, but it all literally just pulls out.

    Yeah just use a bit of fine sandpaper and give it a rub down, otherwise the paint sort of runs abit.

    ive just done mine in white. i put 2 coats of plastic primer, 6 coats of gloss white and 7 coats of lacquer on it. i also sprayed my badges with the same method.

    yeh just stick to a couple of coats of both primer and paint, make sure you havent missed anything. Lacquer may not be needed, mine turned out fine without to be honest
