vtr turbo problem

    got a mk1 1998 vtr with stage one cituning turbo on it
    fitted it all up today all went on fine
    had no water or oil leaks all good
    but have a problem as the water temp light stays on and so dose the oil pressure light, next problem was that my bat died on me after afew start ups
    not even had the chance to run it yet.
    didnt know if any one has any ideas what could be corsing this i know im nt losing any oil pressure thow the turbo as its not smoking and im nt losing oil throw the bost hose, the only wiring i have done is made the lamda wires longer and moved the powerstearing pump down on the braket they give you, im gonna check all my earths 2mz and get a new bat didnt know if any one els has any ideas on wht i can check
    o ya to top it all off tonight as i had a dead bat the saxo locket itself with the keys inside it so i had to brake into my own car

    where are you running the oil feed and return from for the turbo.
    have you removed or used a take off piece from the oil pressure sensor port that is on the bottom left hand side of the block at the front of the engine??

    thats how i got the feed etc for my supercharged vtr and i had a dash board like a set of xmas lights, it ran fine though.

    na the oil feed runs from the remote oil filter and the return is strate into the sump, i cant see why the water temp light is on thow, plus i cleaned the sump out befor i put it bac on to make sure that there wernt any crap in the 2 get blocket in my pic up pipe,dose any one know if theres and eath on the power stearing pump coz thats the only eletrical thing ive moved?
    it realy starting 2 p**s me off it started fine ran up a treat then didnt get to take it out

    Have you had any other plugs off? If so you mite have the water temp and intake temp sensors on the wrong way.. This can happen i know

    Oil pressure sensor is at front of block rite behind where your turbo will sit just double check that you have not pulled out of snagged wire..

    naa ive nt had any others off checket the oil pug and its fine, put the new bat on and its still nt turing over u can hear the pin firing but its nt turing over i have absautly no idea what to do next, ive checkt the startmoter wires and there all fine no brakes, could of happend at a more shitty time for me weathers bad and my mum and sis go on holiday today so i gonna be stuck with out a car

    now thinking its a starter problem as the soialode it firing but the moter is nt turning so i think im going get it picket up on monday and get it fix as im runing out of ideas fast and seeing tht my mum and sis hav now gone on holiday ive got no other car to use only if there was a quick fix

    coz im the one with fat hands
    dose any one also no what starter moter it needs coz i know theres 2types

    check the alternator as it sits close to the turbo and will give the symp[toms you have if its fucked

    found out what is dickhead hear mixet up two of the oil pipe and the reason it wasnt turing over coz there was no oil pressure nd with no oil pressure you have no engine (Y) so new one for me, o well i guess u live and learn (dumbass)
