new 16v engine?/

   just bought a 16v engine from breakers ivejust finished putting it all back together after resprayin block is there any way of testing the engine b4 it goes in i dont wanna put it in and its seized or completly fooked lol

   turn it over with a socket wrench on the bottom pulley.

   no the fact that if it doesnt spin its seized it wont be that easy to spin it though, you will need a big wrench

   a dab of oil down the plug holes can be used if it has bee. Left dry

   thanks lads also cause the ngines been sitting for while now is the anything im gna need to do before i drop it in cause some1 was saying bout the oil channels can get clogged?
