colour coding dash - heater

    what do i do with the heater leads? theres one for the sliders and one for the fan speed.. and one for cigarette lighter
    do i unplug them?

    help urgently cos want to start spraying today and my dash is hanging half out !!

    If your just going to take centre console out and spray it, then yes just unplug them, once you've colour coded it, put it back in and plug them back in.

    If you wanted to be extra safe you could disconnect battery first.

    ive done it now, i just unplugged them, but then realised the possible danger, when plugging back in i will disconnect the battery.how do u release the fan at the top?? and the switch for the fan speed?

    Fan speed thing is a yellow plug aswell mate, have a fiddle with it.

    The vents at the top will come out with the whole console. There is a way of disconnected them but i cant remember how, just have a play around with it. Best way mate

    When i did mine i just used some masking tape. Taped them up
