Important! : rear axle swap? is it easy?

    hi i need to replace my rear axle and trailing arms as it JUST scraped through an mot and that was a friendly one! i need to know if it is an easy job and what to look for when i look at a new one. the one i can get and is local is off the car so how can i see if itis better than my original. any help would be much appreciated.

    there easy enough to do - BUT it depends how competent you are with a spanner? in theory there is only 4 bolts that hold the rear beam assembly on (wheels, handbrake and brake pipes are the only other things you NEED to touch).
    but were talking French cars - so it can take between 30 mins and 30 years to do

    easy as fuck 4 bolts and the fuckers off.

    mnitues to do that part then its just d/c brake lines swap calipers and dics ovre if needs be. cut the cable tie holding fuel lines and shit.

    easy job, longest parts jacking car up and takin wheels off.

    Obv need to re lower the rear, easier to take t-bars out before re fitting axel
