   right i have just bought a phase 2 vts saxo and want to make it as quick as my old phase one...................but i dont where or who to contact about a superchip/remap
   
   any help would be nice cheers

   Mate get an electrics supercharger and an electric dumpvalve, makes them seriously rapid.

   chips dont do alot mate, they just change your fueling which a remap also does .
   
   might be good to think about new cams, and a remap? will add some big BHP to the car

    so wot cams then are the best, i also have a decat magnez system which would need mapping into?????? with the cams oh and maybe throttle bodies, but i am skint and none of this is really D.I.Y is it!!!!!!

    i was a formula1 in west kingsdown one and a fella had a 1.2 corsa c, he booked the superchip fella to come out and ' CHIP' his car. the lad was giving i large with all his pals and some birds how this is costing him £280 and its going to make his car as quck as a 1.6 blah blah blah. Fella turned up in a little vito, flopped out his laptop. plugged it into the car and 5 minutes later was off.
    
    
    The kid was like ' i just paid all that money for fuck all! ' needless to say when he tried to ' tear off' down the road it was still as slow as fuck.
    
    So id say stay away from superchips lol

    firstly breathing mods- filter, zorst manifold and so on. Then go onto engine- headwork, fast road cams, ECU work (remap etc) or if you can get some TB's fitted and then remap it some. Provided its all done properly, you should have a weapon.
    
    And superchips aren't all that, as said. Better to have an individual map for your car.

    hi mate,
    
    well id do the following
    
    enclosed air filter
    
    stainless steel manifold (sounds like you have the rest of the exhaust sorted
    
    strip the back seats out and unnecessary weight maybe? (makes a differnece)
    
    some fast road cams then followed with a remap...
    
    this would get you some decent performance figures and a good base of a car...
    
    
    throttle bodies could follow however they are a bitch to set up so a standalone ecu such as what rcd performance are offering would be best...
    
    and headwork would be recommended for the power being put through...
    
    thats what id consider mate hope it helps...
    
    suspension for handling would be one of my first mods mate its all about the twisties

    cheers fellas the front is lowered but it looks like the back is not.............how hard is torsionbars to do yourself???? all i have a upper ans lower strut brace on the way...........

    ive seen advantages from an enclosed induction manifold full system decat and a superchips quite a considerable gain actually,dastek chips in southern scotland are the lads for the job!! phase 2 vtr - decat,full stainless,manifold,enclosed induction,dastek superchip/remap V Phase 2 vtr with full stainless
    
    the remapped/chipped vtr pulled as if it was a cammed vts!!!
