well. my clutch is on the way out. i was just wondering a rough price on a garage replacing the whole thing and also if it is worth me getting a fast road clutch...

will it realy make that much of a difference?

Garage was gonna charge me £125 for just the clutch bearing changing [bastards said they were doing me a favour .. bein my first car and that haha! ] another offered 80 for bearing only .. I'm getting clutch kit for bout 60ish and a mechanic is fitting it on the side for £50 labour.

    If that's any help lol

Edit: uh I've got an old MK1 1.1 tho ........! ignore me soz

they all use the same type of gearbox so clutch changes are similar on all the saxo range so your post is still valid.

You may want an organic clutch and uprated clutch plate but it depends on how you launch the car from standstill. How sympathetic are you

fast road clutches alow you to transfer more power more quickly pointless on a standard car but if you have tuned the engine it would be worth buying one in price ranges for fitting a standard one could vary from £100 to £200
