what are the symptoms of knackard engine mounts? when i accelerate hard in 4th the gear stick shudders really bad like something is loose heard it could be the lower engine mount is this true?

that could well be the case

If you change to a poly-item, be prepared for lots of transmitted vibration through the body.

Another thing - to remove the old bush is easy, the bush is plastic, not metal so just bash it out of the mounting bracket with a chisel and hammer.

Cheerz going to get it on the ramp next week. isit worth just staying with the standard bush if the poly transmitts a lot of vibration through the body?

group n would be killer for vibration (i have a set waiting to go on mine)

    powerflex isnt too bad tbh
but it does vibrate a bit

imo if your not after performance a standard will do fine
only really need a polybush if your trying to reduce engine movement

Are them group n mounts any good then?

you do feel it abit but its bound to get less as the bush beds in. looking at my old bush it was well shot. for £26 and 30mins work its worth it just for the difference felt in the gear shift.
