    acts the same way as strut braces, makes the car more solid and ridgid
    
    its not by much thoug, they are mainly for looks but i dont think tints would make it obsolete especially if the cage was really bright like white or something

    show cages are rubbish full stop either get a real one or dont, just like you wouldnt buy an electric supercharger of ebay as it doesnt compare to a real supercharger why buy a show cage as it doesnt compare to a real cage?

    hi stendog been following your progress as my car is pretty similar to yours tho i have full gti 1/2 leather and kept the dtm mirrors which you ditched, not sure why i fancy one just think they look cool.
    have you thought about spacing the standard vtr wheels by 20mm? i just done it and it looks so mush better, lowering it again in next few days should be about 65mm i hope, what tyres are you running and are you still on standard rims?

    not really up for that mate, going more along the lines of track car more than anything else now and cant see spacers being a good idea for track along with 65mm lowering. yes just on standard vtr rims am looking at some team dynamic pro race 1.2 rims to allow for 4 pots when i drop a vts lump in it
