engine conversion

   i bought my saxo with the insurence money from my crumpled 306 gti6 and i love it but its just too slow. i cant insure a vts so i want a vtr engine and work on it but will it fit??
   could anyone tell me if it will fit and if its as simple as just swaping the engines (no mods needed)

   i think they are a str8 swap obv u need to up grade brakes and u need a vtr ecu along with some other bits i should imagen

   loom, ecu, engine, clocks maybe as speedo could be out gearbox would need swapping if you didnt get one

   best bet is to get an engine from the same year as yours,
   If its still in the car unlock the ECU there is a guide somewhere on how to do it
   If you cant there is a place that does it for £100 i think,

   or failing that check ebay as have seen quite a few unlocked ecu's on there recently.
