furio to vtr conversion

    hi ive got a y reg furio wanted to stick a vtr lump into it as am bored of the furios power now. ive done research into this and have found a vtr lump for £150 but its only the engine could i use the furio loom and just unlock the ecu. i cant get a vts yet as for insurance reasons

    haha is the car modified no *coughyescough*

    asking to get it seized tbh
    vtr can be donebut its best to get the vtr loom and ecu (i think yours will fit though)
    but the ecu may need a remap to run it properly

    thanks yh i wud be changing the cams to so wud remap the whole thing also as the engine is suppose to be abt 50.000 miles on it however cant be 100%sure on that therefore i was thinking of recondition it wot would be the best things to do i was thing of getting it rebored

    could anyone recommend what parts to change on a vtr engine as i wanted to reondition it before puuting it in thanks

    pretty pointless upgrade for the money tbh mate, and you cant uprate TU engines power on the cheap, only option for real gains would be cams but thats big money

    ok mate thanks ive got an early 90 bhp engine which i got for £50 is der any piont of camming it as ive already got a manifold and full exhaust system and air filter as im changing the engine so would need a remap so was thinkin to cam it aswell
