an easy way to remove badges idea

    hey just thinking if anyone has done this surely when you take the badges of you could just get some sort of filler and fill the holes that are left behind up with some sort of filler make sure its a clean smooth finish on the outside then get some touch up repair paint from halfords the ones where its 3 pens if you know and go over them with that just wondering has anyone tried it

    You would struggle to fill it with something that wouldnt need sanding and as soon as you start sanding you wont be able to just touch it up

    Sure people have tried similar ideas before mate. If your not too fussyit'd probably work fine but there would be a 'ring' around the edge of the new paint that you would be able to see. Might not be too bad from far away but up close it might look a bit odd.

    needs to have a small metal plate welded over holes on inside first or the filler will eventually fall out over time with boot being shut firm to close it
