tbh its a nightmare lots of heat and a slidge hammer should do the trick

if your money isnt tight purchase a new manifold........or put your standard manifold on..

Bring it to me and il cut out the old and weld in a new section but be aware I am an apprentice lol.

Welded a moped exhaust the other week using a TIG machine

im a welder an all mate, i wud of done that my self if it was an option but it wud be hard to get another piece and weld it in coz it a massive part of the manifold thats crushed

What manifold is it? Mild or Stainless?
  12. #12
mild, its been arc welded by the looks of things. and very badly at that, ive done better welds pissed out of my head the morning after lol. they were that bad that i had to grind the insides out coz they had burnt through far 2 much.

Well I went drastic with mine. I cut it in half, heated it and the battered it into shape. You might want to weld a rod on to the dint. Then heat the shit out of it in a vice and pull the rod to bring the dent out?

ive thought about that one mate, think ill go for tacking a bolt the dint and warmin it wit the oxy- accetyline and pulling it out
  15. #15
Thats what you want to do mate. Get the manifold in a vice so you can pull the bolt.
