hi, i have a back saxo furio n i wa wonderin what colour i shud have ma rims. i have blacked out windows on it n i think it would look good all black
what do you think, before i spend my money lol
  2. #2
white vts wheels look really good on black cars, gunmetal would also look great, buts its all about personal opinion tbh
  3. #3
white vts rims or pro racers
  4. #4
    cheers lads
  5. #5
White wheels will really set the car off, black wheels if you want the stealth look and keeping to the black theme, either will look ace
  6. #6
Got to have white vts rim!!! its a must....
  7. #7

i wud of thought 14"rims would look crap on ma car cos it isnt lowerd yet
    what do you think?

  12. #12
ye, 14" does usually look a bit pap unless there vtr rims or your going euro style
  13. #13
i will go 4 sum 14" vtr rims then cheers lads

hw much u reckon i shud lower it by, i dnt wnt it 2 low so that i always bottom it n the tyres rub on the arches, bt i wnt it 2 look dicent n handle better. if that isnt asking 2 much lol

i was thinking 35mm front 40mm back... wt u think?

    cheers peeps
  14. #14
45mm front on eibachs, 50 mm rear Ive gone for, handles great and looks spot on imo. Mins a furio too so yours would look exactly like this

  15. #15
    ur cars mint m8

hw much was it 2 get it from stardard 2 that?

    also were from?

    cheers
  16. #16
Im not sure on white on black with tints?

If you have the tints i think the stealthy look would be far better, vts wheels sprayed gloss black would look evil IMO

    Cheers mate.

Cost 90 quid for the springs, from KamRacing.co.uk. My mate fitted them at his garage for a pint

The rear I lowered myself, but it was complicated because my original axles torsion bars were seized. Theres a 99% chance yours will be too. But mine were badly seized so it was fooked, so I bought an axle of a 106 GTi and fitted that. So it cost me like 350 quid to lower the car, but it should only cost you 200-250 ish if you get a garage to lower it and the torsion bars can be unseized

    nice 1 lad cheers

is the ride quite hard, n do u feel every bump in the road lol

also if i lowerd it 45mm back n 40mm front would u think my wheels would rub on the arches if there were 5people in the car?

thanks for ur opinions ben n peeps
  19. #19
Its harder than std but you dont feel every bump in the road mate no. And theres hardly any body roll. On VTR rims that probably wouldnt cause rubbing no. Mines stripped out though, dont like having people in the back it fucks up the handling

what paint did u use to get ur vtr rims looking like that?
  26. #26
They came like it mate, but theyre not proper black, theyre a dark gunmetal colour which you can see a bit better here. Looks betterthan straight up black I reckon

  27. #27
    kwl cheers

whould you be selling them any time soon m8 lol

av seen sum on ebay for £160 15" does that sound about right?

    fanx 4 help
  28. #28
Nah I wont mate sorry. Will be next summer but not before. Theyre 14s, sure the ones on ebay arent VTS rims? You should expect to pay 150+ for black VTR rims with good tyres. Prob closer to 180, with postage on top.

Best bet is to buy some silver ones with good tyres off ebay or a club, with lots of bubbling and a bit of kurbing for a bargain price. Then furb em yourself, easy to do. Can prob do it all for 100 quid.
