#2I got quoted £40 for the ball joint from ManicMotors (have a sectione on here)
Altho my next door neighebr said its cheaper to just go to somewhere like Euro Car Parts and buy a new bottom arm for approx £16 and fit that yourself as its just few bolts.....
As for the headlight your best idea would be to ring round the scrap yards first, failing that Citroen really or possible someone on here, they pop up now and then

#4go to a local car parts store, they are £10 for the ball joint.
remove the arm, easy to do if you have a haynes manual.
place arm in a vice, heat up area around the ball joint with a small gas torch for a few mins, knock the ball joint out with a hammer, eg, hit the spigot end down
you will see that the arm has small splines in it as well as the outside of the new ball joint, just knock the new one in with a hammer.
job done

#7got quoted £90 for supply n fitting off new ball joint from the gaage which just happens to be across te road. is this decent enuff any1 reckon?
-
#8Seems a bit pricey, a ball joint is only £10-£15, less for a garage coz they'll get it at trade price. I haven't done one but would imagine it would only take 1 to 1 1/2 hours for a decent garage.
-
#9Even citroen original balljoints don't cost much over £10.
However it's an hours labour for removal and refit of wishbone, then time to piss about pressing it in. So say 1hr 15mins, @ 50/hr that's 62.50, plus £10 for balljoint, possibly plus vat? all adds up.
Saying that i can remove and refit wishbone in 15 mins, have a mate to press the balljoints in and out. £10, bosh. -
#10I replaced both the ball joint links a couple of months back and i just brought them myself from motor mania and fitted them myself, they wer only 15 squid each n took about 40 mins to fit but only that long becus had to diamond cut the knackered ones off cus couldnt undo the bolts 4 shit lol
hope this is of some guidance
