Engine The Same..

   Hi.. theres a scrap 206 at work and I've had a look at the engine and it looks the same as mine. Where would the engine code be stamped? And would it fit in a saxo? Or has it got different engine mounts or something.. Cheers Ben

   The 206 1.6 has a 1.6 8v Grey top in, exactly the same as the 90bhp VTR!
   
   Would presume the mounts are the same also. Dont quote me on the mounts.
   
   Can find out if you want though.

   check engine codes.
   6th 7 th 8th digit of VIN
   
   Coil pack on the side or behind the head
   
   ECU 3 plug or single plug

   would help if you said what engine and year the 206 and your car is.

   if its a TU engine it usually will go in.
