manifold too close to oil filter???

   hi guys..i have just fitted my supersprint manifold to my vtr and it is rather close to the oit filter and am worried it might melt it..has anybody had any problems with this??

   you can get an oil filter relocation kit for this.
   
   gmc supplies them iirc

   My old mani did that so I just lumped a bit of carbon cloth and heatwrap between it.

   I've had my supersprint on for a few months now and noticed it was sitting very close too, I just check it now and then but so far it's been fine.

   yer i have wedged a bit of heatwrap between for the time being..just dont want it melting the filter lol

   Wont hurt it.
   
   May increase oil temp very slightly but thats about it

   as Kam has said, there is no need to worry.
   
   they are made like that and many people have them fitted to their saxos and have no problems

    with mine i heatwrapped it
    
    also have two gaskets on o space it out a tad, dont worry though it shouldnt really cause any damage
