Room for more power?

My saxo is just aboout how i want it.
Engine spec: Magnex full system with de-cat, 4-2-1 manifold, bmc with cold air feed to headlight, p+p throttle body, skimmed + p+p head, 708 cams and a remap.
Running on 14" vtr rims lowerd on spax springs with koni ajustable dampers.
The interior is all stripped abart from the dash.

Is there anything else i can do to improve my cars performace or gain more power without spending massive amouts on T/B's, turbo or supercharge.

two ways you can go.. either improve the chassis so you can go faster with the existing power or fit TBs and standalone. If you go the engine route and you have had decent headwork done this should get you near 170bhp

cage, strut braces, polybushes, better struts and springs are the route that I would go down

    better cams or strip

i have the front mouts (polybrush) and engine mount. Also have a upper strut brace not botherd about the lower one as my car is too low. Didnt really want to to TB's and standalone. Was just curiouse is there was any bits to tweak to gain performance.

    queef diff

Depending on how much work was done to the head it may be worth looking at more.

You could add more wild cams also

    diif an shorter box

i agree with kam, braces and cage to strengthen it, and then strip it

Not really anything cost effective now with the engine.. anything significant there will need TBs.

higher performance suspension, raise the ride height to give better geometry, stiffer springs, lower brace, 048R soft compound tyres and a diff would be a good start.

Solid engine mounts for the rear, uprated antiroll bar on the rear, weld in roll cage to improve the rigidity of the chassis

depends how mad you want to go.

Personally I wouldn't touch the gearbox until the rest of the chassis mods were done as you often find yourself carrying loads of additional speed round corners and you can top out on the straights. Certainly on my old 205 rallye a 110 mph top speed was easily reached. Just had to do that speed all around the race track lol

    like kam said,

ive made my car pretty quick on track now and ive hardly done anything to the engine.
track day tyres, 4 pot brakes and good suspnsion has made me as quick as if i added another 75bhp i reckon.
