just toying with a few ideas for my VTS

fully smoothed rear boot and reg plate moved down on bumper
    delocked doors
    de-arieled
    smoothed over fogs
    widemouth front bumper
    fully colour coded all round

im thinking if i do all this it will need a full respray also... because there are a few imperfections...

how much on a guess? for all this to be done at a bodyshop and how long

    i think £1500?... am i right?

    not fond of smoothed

but delocked is good, as is the ariel, fogs and widemouth

i wouldnt colou code tbh, think it looks shit

especially on silver, looks like 1.1's

not going for the euro style by the way

just easy on the eye look, and if i do the bodywork i will smoke the vts headlights and foglights make it look less girly imo lol

    ... when i put my foot down you'll know i have a VTS not a 1.1

erm smoothed i like, something different... and colour coding... i just want to make my VTS different to the rest lol

any ideas are welcome, i may be doing this because i have decided im keeping the vts not changing to a 172 or anything im only 18 lol

I think go for it, it's good to hear about something different in the pipeline also I think you may be looking at 2K unless most of the spraying will be a flick over then you could get it for around the 1500 mark also it will depend on how much bodywork needs prepping this will effect the price quite a lot! You could just go round a few sprayers and get them to quote it up for you that will probably be the best idea!

My mates just had his polo done with pretty much everything you listed for around £1600. I think thats about the normal for a decent quality job. Budget £1500 - £2000, unless you know any sprayers who will do it on 'mates rates'.

Plans sound good mate, not keen on the smoothed boot idea though - doesn't suit a Saxo imo

    change of planssssss

what do you all think of...

    smoked headlights
    smoked foglights
    slammed 60mm all round
    black VTS wheels refurbed
    yellow brake calipers
smoked rear tints windows, dark smoke
smoked jewels on rear off ebay
    black vynil roof

and maybe smoothed boot on rear lol... depends but the above 1st... ???

is it a good idea to make it abit diff very similair to everyone but diff with the roof? and inexpensive, simple modifications FTW
