pipercross induction hum

Quick question...

Bought a pipercross induction kit for my VTR. fitted it and the sweet roar sounds is great but there is also this loud hum durnig parts of the acceleration so I`ve put the standard air filter back on.

Is the hum usuall??

i have that aswell mate, but only at the start of the acceleration, is all the bits on good?

yeah, they where all tight. the hum`s too loud..maybe the K&N one will be quieter as the cone is smaller.

yeah but the piper is better and looks sweet. get it back on and give the car a good run.

might do. not to keen on the hum though.. i might just stick with the noise the back box makes alone but that roar from the piper induction is great..

i never had this when i had one. is it brand new? if not give it a good clean and check everythin is on ok.

Yeah it`s new. I`ll try it again in a few days and take it a few junctions on the M25 and check it..

if you mean the hum where it kinda vibrates your ear drum!!,, mine does that at about 3500 revs with foot slammed to the floor. just the sound of the thing, nothing to worry about.

gota av the induction kit on my friend, my xzorst is quiet on purpose so i hear the k+n generation 2 roar ova the top mate
