Quick question
Is there enough room to remove the engine whilst leaving the gearbox in the car?

not that i can figure out. can move the engein across far enough to get it of the shaft from the gearbox.

its easier to line up the gearbox with it out of the car, so just hoik the lot out

drop the engine down then lift the shell/chassis up

take the whole lot out, fit box to engine going back in and bolt up.
soooo much easyer.

couldnt be arsed with pissing around with the driveshafts.

you need to remove on of the driveshafts anyway. (unless you remove the carrier from the engine) which is still an arse.

just take the gearbox out with it, pointless leaving it in.
why would you want to leave it in?
