Get Rid Of That Kerbing!

    ELo all.

I have VTR rims in BLACK but due to extremely bad parking skills when i first got them there a bit curbed and the silver is obviously coming through.

Cant really afford to get them refurbed but was thinking of alternate 'cover ups'.

Been looking at these coloured the rim lips, apparently they are just tape- any views on these? Easy to do etc?.Apparently you can get them from motorbikes shops, would you have to take the tyre off the wheel to do them?

    Any other alternatives?

If your not really bothered how it's going to look as long as it's black you should just get some touch up paint.

find out what colour they were painted in and just get a touch up set from somewhere like Halfords

If you want to get rid of the actual kerbing, then use some Isopon P38. Halfords sell it, £6.49 a tub. Filler over, leave it to dry, sand down, primer, paint, lacquer.
