  2. #2
not to my taste, but each to there own
  3. #3
    looks shit imo

only good if you wan to get rid of heat, ie running big power like a turbo or supercharger
  4. #4
not even ideal for gettin rid of heat are they?

vipers diesel has them, makes it go faster i swear
  5. #5
well not really matt, i soon rather have a big intercooler and louvres

think they look good on certain cars, think it looks ok on a mk1 vts and vts engines do heat up quiet alot so are useful.ive just ordered some,only£7 delivered so if dont end up liking them its not a big money loss.

I hated them to begin with but they have grown on me.

Wouldnt have them on my car though.
  8. #8
not a fan of them tbh, fair enough if your running a turbo but pointless on a standard car IMO
  9. #9
    pointless on any car.

sort your radiator out and there's never gonna be a problem

They look sh*t and they are pointless.

There's a good few threads on them in this section if you do a search. Here's a post from one of them...

    They are also very dangerous!

If you were to get an under bonnet fire, the flames are not kept within the bonnet, but instead they are released up to the windsreen and up the scuttle panel! Not good!

Thats why they are not used in motorsport.
