Hi all,
My new Haynes manual (2006) does not include the steering set up for my 1999 1.4 sx.
Mine has the torx screw clamping the track rod bracket and since replacing the gaiter it would seem that the track rods "dip" in the middle. (With me so far?)
Is there any specific setting here or is it guesswork and poor steering geometry?
The bracket can't be rotated higher because the inner balljoints would foul the power steering pipes and the torx screw would be inaccessible.
Thanks for considering this.
