fuel pressure regulators

    will it make any difference upgrading this on a vtr? i have a :-

    * supersprint mani
    *decat back
    *induction kit
    * couple breathe mods too

    would it be worth while getting the upgrade ? or what else can people suggest i am getting some cam for it piper 285`s and a remap what else can i do ?

    no point in uprating the fuel regulator, the standard one is sufficient.

    what suspension & brake upgrades have you made? i would push them forward like new shocks & springs (kam racing) and some wilwoods...

    I would concentrate as Andy said on getting it handling and stopping well too.

    Then go for a cam upgrade, then onwards from there

    as said, you want to make sure you car can handle the extra power before you add the power

    im running PH3 cams in my VTS and at the same time i decided to get myself an adjustable fuel press reg, just so that the fuelling could tweaked slightly if needed, when i got it mapped they did make a few alterations but then again iv had the head gasflowed/portmatched etc and so although its not really worth it if your just going for 708s or whatever, if your looking at taking it past that stage i would maybe look into one. DONT buy an FSE boost valve - their sh*te!
