Saxo not starting

  1. #1
Help me guys please. My saxo has been off the road for a gd few years and it has not been touched. Its because i was on a ban. I'm off it now and i'm trying to get it back on the road. The first problem i had was with the keycode for the immobiliser but i took the ecu to someone and hes taken the code off for me. When i try and start it it clicks over just doesn't actually start. What other things should i check?

    Thanks

Ok mate, this exact thing has just happened to me. First, ensure the battery is fully charged. Then try to get hold of a car that can tow you (4x4 etc) then get it to pull you, after and 15 metres, put it in 2nd (that's what i did for some reason) and attempt to turn it on, ensuring that you put your foot down on the clutch. It should turn over, if not, try again. It took me just two goes of turning the key.

Hope this is of to some help mate.
