Dip Stick

   The plastic end snaped off of the oil dip stick and presumeably fell into the sump.Does anyone know if this could cause any damage or is it nothing to worry about.

   it wont do any harm and will most likely come out at the next oil change, which you could do.
   
   There should be a strainer over the oil feed line so it cant get sucked up there and the crank would just chew it up and spit it out.

   So it will probably just stay floating in the sump for now or just get sucked in to the oil filter.

   mine did the same got told its a comon problem
   i drained my oil and it didnt come out so took the sump off and it had been chewed up i only did this for peace of mind

   it will just float round the sump, i would change the oil see if it comes out

   The little plastic bit has been in mine for about 4 months. Hasnt done anything atall.

   Phoned Citroen up today and they said that there's nothing to worry about.
