why not look at some larger brakes, there are alot out there that will fit under vtr rims, if you have 15's even better could go gti-6 set

if you do have 15s and are looking at a bigger brake upgrade as a serious option, forget gti-6 brakes, they weigh a ton.

Look for deals on 206 gti 180 brakes as these are alot lighter.

Or even 266mm sets like 307 and 206 gti, slightly smaller than the gti180 upgrade but i found mine to be a huge improvement with good pads and discs, i used a set of mintex.

    Glad you say this.

I want Carbon Lorraine for my track day!

They give off to much brake dust for everyday use lol.

Yes it would require you to change the calipers. Well worth the ugrade though!

I've got 306 S16 calipers on mine and paid under £100 for them with near new discs and pads!

personally I dislike the green stuff pads as when I had a set on my 205 I couldnt lock my brakes up.

I have black diamond pads on the car at the mo they are still fairly new- would these be better with the ebc discs?
Also are goodridge braided thingame jiggs any good?

Should of bought a 266mm or 283 upgrade if your spending that sort of money on some discs and pads. I know they are for the front and rear and i suppose its not bad, but, you would be better off getting a 266 or bigger upgrade for similar cash, i paid £80 for a set of 206 gti calipers, mintex discs and pads (new) and the job was a good one! Waaaaay cool braking now.
